Total Newb Question

i dont know anything about car audio but i want a nice (nicer) system in my G.


do i have to spend like 2 grand buying a whole new system or could i just put in a couple subs in the back? im lost

Honestly, I would love to help you, but I suggest doing a little research on your own first. Do some searches on this forum to see what others have done. That is the best way to learn about car audio, as well as what is popular among follow G35 owners.

You say you want a nicer system, but the term "nicer" is relative. If all you think you need is bass then adding some subs with an amp will help, But if you think the overall sound currently is bad then you will need more. Just listen to your system think about what areas(ex, lack of bass, lack of mids, harshness in the highes, etc) you need improvement and go from there.
