Bose RMS output?

Bose RMS output?
Anyone know what the rms power output is of the bose amp to the stock 6 speakers (8 if you count the tweeters, but 6 channels). Wondering if i can run a decent 4 channel amp off the power already there or if i'll need to run another line from the battery. (yeah, i'm lazy)

well, i believe the wire is 8 gauge running about 15 ft and I believe the infinity marketing material reflects peak power (so cut in half) - I would estimate around 25W x 6 (for the coupe) - maybe less for the first 4, more for the 6 x 9 - but around there. Please also note that that reflects 2 ohm speakers, so if you stick in 4 ohm, the output will be even less.

hmm...that's about what i figured. I thought i remembered seeing that people changed out their speakers. Anyone do that and not change the amp? Cause I don't see any 2 ohm speakers out there.
Basically I was either gonna change amp and speakers, speakers, or just tweeters. I really want better highs and i've read other posts about changing just the tweeters, but again these are 4 ohm. But if my memory serves correctly, the stock ones are 4 ohm as well. So I guess that's ok, but will that make much of a difference?
