Ok, I've been searching this forum to find out everything I need to get to do the jdm double din conversion. From what I can tell, I need the bracket, double din finisher, and AC control. Is there anything else I will need? And, is there a wiring harness that plugs into the factory wiring? I'm wanting to install my stereo this weekend but I want to make sure I have everything I need.

I dont think you need the bracket....

 

dont need the bracket, get the antenna adapter, and pac swi-x interface for steering wheel controls

 

so all you need is the finisher and ac controls? How the hell does that equal 3-400? I know the ac controls are like 200 and 60 for the finisher.

Grubbs just said that they will have it next week. You gotta wonder if they really will. I asked the guy if I could cancel it though if they don't get it in. He said it wouldn't be a big deal.

 

Are you sure? Cause if you are, I won't order it. And, are all years the same? Cause mine is an 04.

 

I just called them, they have the finisher in stock now, just arrived via truck. They are expecting the AC controller by the end of next week. That is what they are saying now....

 

make sure you ordered the right model year AC controller. The 03-40 ACC is slightly different from the 05 ACC.....I don't think grubbs has ordered any 05 finishers or ACCs....only 03-04's
