avn5435+iPod??

I am going to pick up my Eclipse AVN5435 tomorrow but, I was wondering if there was an iPod interface available for it. Does anyone know?

I have it. I'm actually in the middle of installing it. So far everything is going good but I can't figure out how I am going to hook up the steering wheel controls. The AVN comes with a harness that plugs in the back of the HU for steering wheel controls, but it doesn't tell how to hook it up in the instructions. I tried calling Eclipse but they are not open on saturdays I think I will make a post related to this problem.

As far as the iPod, I haven't been able to find anything that will work. I would like to be able to hook it up but if I can't then I'll just have to live without it.

Call eclipse on Monday, the menu will prompt you for AVN help, choose it.

Can you post pics when you are done?

I am in the process of deciding between the Eclipse 5435 and the Pioneer D1. I was told that Eclipse is making HU's for Toyota so the AVN comes with a harness for the Toyota steering wheel controls to plug right in. I am not sure if this applies to other car manufacturers. But when you hear from Eclipse please post their answer.

5435 all the way. The D1 does not even play DVD's.

I too am trying to decide between the D1 and 5435. True, the D1 doesn't play DVD's, but I've read multiple posts on the internet that the navigation system is far superior in the D1. In addition you can't get real time XM Traffic on the 5435 which makes it far less attractive.
