How in the hell do you connect a aftermarket battery post?
I bought two stinger connects for my battery. I got the neg on but when I went to install the pos side I ran into a block on the post. How did you guys get around this?
Are you talking about the red plastic cap over the + terminal? You can just pull that off (it's attached by some little snap-on latch-type thing). Underneath, there's already an extra post where u can just bolt on a wire w/a crimped ring terminal. You'll need to buy a hex nut, though. I think I used an M8x1.25(not sure?) I posted something in another thread about this, if you search for hex nut home depot or something you might find it.
If you're trying to replace the entire + battery connect, that would be complicated...

This is a tough one. I saw that nut looks like a good spot. BUT my stinger kit came with cables(new post's) and they replace that whole unit. The problem is I dont understand how I would remove that fuse thing that goes on the stock post.
I c what u mean. Ya, there are quite a number of fused connections through that + battery connection/contraption. To replace that thing might be a big headache. I'm kinda interested to see what your stinger connector looks like... does it have enough (fused) connections to replace all of the stock ones? If not, it might be best just to use that extra connector - it will still look real clean that way. Let us know how it goes... (kinda in the middle of an install myself).
