so let me get this straight (05 6MT DD install)

All I need to install my IVA-D300 indash into my 2005 6MT coupe are the following parts from Grubbs

Code Product Quantity Price/Ea. Total
68260-AM913 Double Din Finisher 1 $63.99 $63.99
27500Al501 Double Din A/C control 1 $199.99 $199.99
Total: $263.98

The finisher and AC controller above are the correct ones and the only two parts I need since the bracket is already in my car...

Thanks!

If installing yourself, you will need a fine-tip soldering iron too....

If you have dual climate, you will have to solder these 3 things from stock A/C controller to JDM A/C controller....

I believe there are only a hand full of people that have done an 05 DD.

I think people do a DD conversion not for what it looks like but for how it sounds.

If the stock Bose system is good enough for you then there's no need, unless you want to add navi, dvd, etc....

Yeah BOSE is good enough for me. I like how it looks this time. I got nav stock already. The way I see it, adding new stereo and speakers and sub and etc... is just asking for rattles. I already lived with rattle once (the 04 with stock stereo), and I am quite happy the way my 05 is holding up so far.

So it's not an 05, but Shaam's (G35AudioMan) Denford/CC DD install epitomizes clean. Very nice. I am sure the brushed aluminum of the head unit + the 05 dash would compliment nicely.

The thing I envy of 04's interior is the hole below the power outlet (lighter on left power outlet on the right) where I used to put my wallet.
