Anyone got bazoka in their G? How is it?

Anyone got bazoka in their G? How is it? I keep seeing these great deal from online discount site but are they for real? I mean, are they good? Is it worth the money? I'm not yet a certified audiophile but I am pretty picky about my music. Would I ended up throwing it away??? I went down to Circuit city and listen to it but the room was so big that I can't feel the bass at all.

Ps. The reason I'm looking at it is due to the easy removability. I like to be able to take it out and put it back in whenever I need to carry bulky items.

Bazooka's offer great "bang for the buck". You can't beat em in terms of the amount of space they take up, weight (in most cases lighter than anything else in their catagory and woofer size), and being that you can get them with a built-in amp and wirring harness - you can have the tube designed and setup (to be plug and play) so that it can be removed if needed. It's a great little all in one package that I've personally used on many cars and trucks I've owned and worked on for friends over the past ten years. The only thing I should warn you is that you need to watch out for deals that sound too good to be true, as many people sell refurbished tubes, which could mean one of a few things. The woofer was once blown, and its been replaced or repaired. The tube itself was damaged and its been since replaced or repaired. The amp itself has burned out and it was replaced or repaired. All in all rufurbs are usually OK, but it's just one of things that makes me uncomfortable in that you're buying a second hand item, and it makes me wonder, did they really get everything that was wrong fixed. My advice to you, stick to new.

Another recomendation, the Infinity Basslink is not bad either. I'm running it in my car and the bass it produces is quite nice and filling! The whole unit is no bigger than two shoe boxes side to side, it has a built in amp, complete plug and play type harness, remote bass volume, and most important to me - weighs next to nothing! Look into it as another alternative to a tube.

You should look into the 4080 box then you won't have any need to take it out. It can also be removed since its not screwed down or bulky.

It takes almost no space. The space it takes you certainly won't be missing since its non usable.

this is something you will definitely not be throwing away once you decide to go with better audio components later on. This is something that you can build on.

Ducatiguy will testify to the sound of the box. It sounds real clear and it hits like you wouldn't believe.

If its something out of your range right now i say save up and don't waste your $$$ on something that you can only afford now that your going to be throwing out later or try to unload.
