Couple AVIC-D1 INSTALL Questions

Hey I just got my D1 in and I'm going to install. Had questions about 3 wires.

1. Pink - Car Speed Signal Input - Where do you connect this exactly (manual says speed wire from ECU)? Not sure where that is! I assume if I ground it instead, the deck thinks I'm not moving. Will the GPS still function correctly?

2. Green - Parking Brake - I assume this tells the GPS it is ok to allow you to enter in destinations etc because you are parked. So if I want to set it up to always allow me to play with my GPS, even while driving (understand it is dangerous, but for a passenger), what do I connect it to? 12V or G?

3. Violet - Reverse Input - I'm not going to use a backup camera. So do I just ground this wire?

I appreciate anyones help who has done this already. Thanks guys!

1. it is the white/green wire on the harness with 4 wires only

2. I grounded mine, but I have a kenwood unit, not sure if it will work with the pioneer

3. it is the purple wire that runs along the driver side floorboard into the trunk. Not sure if you really need to do it, but I did it

White/Green wire on harness with 4 wires only. Ok thank you. Where is the ECU? Passenger side floorboard area?

I will ground the parking brake, and hookup the other.

Thanks very much!

<EDIT> ECU is under passengers dash.

Thanks for the help all! I will post pics of my AVIC-D1 after I put it in. This is an 05 6MT. Hopefully I can get around to it tonight or tomorrow.
