I don't have the spec sheet with me currently on my box size. What I can tell you is that the box was built to allow about .8 cuft of space per sub. The subs i'm using are 10" Oz Audio Matrix Elite's.

got to say nice set up! hows the sound (bass) considering test have shown, better bass response with speakers facing towards the trunk? anyway, looks great. can you please tell me how much your job cost and what you think mine should? considering i have the amp kit and want a plexi glass style top like yours? thanks RX
same here man, i made mine custom and never saved the specs, all i can say is that its almost to the "T" in specs for the subs which are 10 inch power H2's. sorry RX
thats what ive been told. this is why i made my box this way and faced the speakers towards the back. I'm only using 2 tens so i want the most available bass for what i have. RX
Actually, its not really that simple. It depends on the type of sound you want to achieve.
By facing the subs towards the back, you will improve low end response for the most part. However, in a SQ setup, the goal would be to have the bass upfront. In other words, you would want to bass to seem as though it were coming from your front speakers as opposed to being able to localize the location of the subs.
By facing the subs forward, you achieve better in-cabin bass response, thus making the subs integrate much better with the front soundstage in most cars. In my experience with our cars, this has been the case. Facing the subs to the rear does improve bass response, but facing them forward helps to achieve a more neutral, focused sound. You will give up a bit of low end, but an EQ can take care of that most of the time.
It simply depends on your preferences and the type of sound you are trying to achieve.

im sure you are right but from what ive been always told, if its bass response youre after (bass meaning low end sound), face your speakers away from you. this is why i built the box that way im relying on the rear deck jl audios for the high end bass. RX
