Hi, this post is for ne one that has a power inverter in their car. I wnat to know how you wired it? Did you use a SPDT switch to power it on when the car start? OR did you extend the actual switch of the power inverter from the trunk to the cabin? Also if you extened the power switch.. what guage wire did you use? Can you just use a small skinny wire for thw switch?

Here is what i am planning on doing for a power inverter in the trunk:
1. Run 8 guage 12+ wire to trunk.
2. Install that to the power inverter
3. Install 8 guage (-) wire to trunk some where ( ground)
4. Use like a 16 guage wire and just extent the switch that is already
located on the power inverter ( so i can manually turn it off and on)

At first I was going to use a SPDT switch so the power inverter will auto power on when i turn the car on.. but i dont want it to run everytime i turn the car on. beause I am just using hte xbox box maybe once a week or something
