Which wire is Ignition Sense (also mute if it exists)
I am installing a new hands free Nokia 616 car kit in my '03 G35 sedan. It has the stock radio in it. I am also installing a PAC AAI-NIS kit for my satilite radio and iPod. Would like to do it all once.
The car kit has two wires that I am trying to figure out how to hook up. I have the 12V red and black figured out. I need help figuring out which wire is the ignition sense. Also does this radio have a mute feature? I have read some threads and don't think that it does but if it does I would like to know which one it is.
Many thanks in advance,

Are you tapping in behind the stereo? If not, where?
Simplest way if you don't know is just take out your multimeter and test around for the 12V sources while the car is on. Turn it off, and see which one went to Ground.
Shaketree mechanic at your service! LOL!
But if you put in aftermarket car stereo, you'd just be tapping into Red, Yellow, and Black. Cheers!

Yellow for?
I am putting the PAC adapter on the back of the radio. This allows me to play satilite radio and ipod through the sat button. The cell car kit has a blue wire for the ignition sense and a yellow wire for the mute.
As for power was going to hook up to the cigarette lighter. This goes off after the key has been removed. Therefore the 12V will go off when the key is removed. I don't understand what will be different about the blue ignition sense wire.
On the PAC AAI-NIS module there is a yellow and blue wire but don't know if these have anything to do with what the Nokia car kit is asking me for. Does anyone know what the pin outs are for the different colors on the PAC module are.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
