Hey guys, I am a new G35 owner. I bought a 03' Sedan a few days ago. I am a bit disappointed with the nav though. I heard a lot of good things about it but there is no detailed streets in my town or the town I work in. What gives? Can anyone verify if the recent update has the streets here before I lay down some mula on it. All I see is the highways. I live in Modesto and work in Stockton Ca. Both have around 200,000 people so I am a bit suprised that there is no streets on the map.

 

I think you and me both needs to purchase the new updated Nav-DVD rom..
somewhere...

I bet it runs around 250 for the new edition DVD...
I have been using this 2002 version of map for almost 2.5 years..I have the same problem as you.

 

They make a KILLING on those DVD updates >_<

 

get it at www.zenrin.com $185. The newest version comes out in October.

 

New version would include what. Any MAJOR differences from an 05 Nav

 

Can someone with a newer version check Modesto for me? I don't want to spend $185 if it doesn't have my city in there.

Check with Zenrin regarding the next update. When I checked their web site for the current mapping version, it didn't know Modesto existed.
