when my bass hits, my license plate in the back rattles like crazy, really annoying, whats the best way to prevent this?

 

double sided 3M tape to absorb some of the shock and to cushion the plate so it doesn't have that rattle sound

 

Buy a piece of Dynamat, attach to the back of the plate
(Cover the entire back of the plate with it), and then you should be good to go.

 

hrmm, how much is it for a piece of dynamat? size of a license plate? i thought they sell dynamat by the box?

sounds like 3M tape method sounds like the most convenient way, cant i buy some stuff at home depot thats similar to dynamat?

also where can i get this 3m tape that you mention? Is it the 3M Foam Double Sided tape?

 

You can go to Best Buy and get a Dynamat license plate kit for like 20 bucks...or go to a Mobile Car Audio Shop, maybe they'll hook you up with a piece for a couple bucks.

 

ok found a store that has it for $13, mikeymike this is what you use on your car? does it work well? and stops all rattling on the license plate?
