Ipod

Just ordered the new Black Ipod with video. Whats the best way to install it to the car to get clear CD quality music rather than go with the FM transmitter.

by searching the forums. but as a hint there is a device call the PAC-NIS device that gives you two line inputs and connects to the SAT input on the back of the head unit. You can't use Sat Radio at the same time but it offers excellent audio quality. If you use the belkin charger/line out you get line out of the IPOD and it charges it. You will prob want to have a professional do the install, cause' its a bit of work to take everything apart.

Good luck! and when it's done it rocks.

I mounted my docking station in my front cup holder and I use the PAC unit. Sounds great!

Im not crazy about the idea of putting the ipod in the cup holder. im thinking of mounting it on the side or putting it in the armrest since i can utilize the controls on the steering wheel
