Fiberglassed stereo project

After 5 weeks of forming, sanding, and painting my little project is finally complete. I dont have the VGA monitor fully installed yet as I am waiting on some dash pieces to decide if i want to add a Panasonic CQ-VAD9300U or CQ-VAD7300U. I guess I dont need that little sticker on how to fit golf clubs in the trunk anymore (not that I'd ever play golf).

Check it out at My G35 stereo page

Wow that's one heavy subwoofer ya got there. IMHO I don't like the A-pillar speakers they look a little bulky, but everything else looks sweet.

Re: Fiberglassed stereo project

very nice dude.
One small suggestion...its about the A-pillars, have you thought about painting them black? I know that they are beige from factory, but i always know that people are complaining as to why the roof and pillars are beige while the rest of the interior is BLACK.

So, perhaps painting them black would make them blend in better and not look so protruding.

Awesome install!

Re: Fiberglassed stereo project

The A-pillars have a felt-like material on them. I wouldn't recommend just painting it.. could get messy and wind up looking tacky.
