sweet man...how are your amps mounted? Are they mounted directly on the backseat, or are they mounted on a board/amp rack? I have two amps also that I'm planning to install like that.

their just mounted onto my backseat. i was gonna make an amp rack but the amps fit just perfect. (lucky the 2amps are the same size..)

setups are:
CDT EF-61 w/DRT Tweets(carbon fiber)
JL 10w6v2d4 w/4080 box
Phoenix Gold Xenon Amps.

How do you like the CDTs? Is it loud enough just in the front?

Edit: I am assuming you did not change the HU... does it still sound clear?

BTW: nice set-up

dude CDT's are niiicceee..my friends have the rainbows and focals..and they were amazed of the quality of these speakers. its rated with those top brands. it gets really loud. i can max it out and still have no problems.

yes i have my HU..because of the fact it plays 6 disc MP3s. and it does sound clear. i have dave nav.LOC so that thing does its job very well.

Does it get louder than stock? Also does the bass overpower the highs?

Sorry for all the questions.... I am deciding if I should get rear fills or not.

louder than stock?. lol.your kidding right~.
you can always control that through amp. the highs are very high..if you want them to be.

if your going with components. just get front components. leave the stock rear(for fill).. and get a sub. thats the best way~.

Well the only reason I ask is bc in my prelude I had 5.25 MB Q but they were not that loud....I had a Hifonics amp but I added rear 6x9s then it got louder but not as clear....

I am def planning on getting a sub....I guess I can always just add rear fill later if needed...

Looks good! Any problems with mounting your speakers? I've got the same CDT comp set but haven't even done a test fit yet. Did you mount the tweets in the stock location (provided you have the Bose premium)? I've got the same Navone LOC and am also using a PG Xenon 400.1 amp for my sub. Did you connect the LOC before or after the Bose amp? I've heard of people doing it both ways.
