Satellite Radio problem w/ '05 Clarion (Bose) stock receiver

I've seen a lot of posts on this forum regarding gripes with the stock receiver, but I haven't seen this one yet.

When I press the Radio button to cycle through the different banks of presets, my satellite stations never come up. It goes FM1, FM2, AM, and back to FM1, instead of going to SAT.

I've already talked to Sirius, and they say my account is fine. I've been to the dealer, and the first time, they just reset the radio (disconnected the battery) and it fixed the problem. But now the problem's back, and resetting didn't fix it this time.

Here's the part I find interesting. I can't find anyone on this forum, or on a Google search having the same problem. But the part has been backordered to the factory. I talked to the service manager, and mentioned that it sounded to me like they were having some problems with the unit, otherwise, why would it be backordered so far? He agreed. But I can't find anyone else having this problem.

Now I'm thinking they might be backordered because of all the wiring gripes I'm reading in this forum. Anyone else having this problem with the Satellite radio?

Someone else on this forum does the same thing.

Try this: Try cycling through by pressing the MODE button on the steering wheel and see if that brings it up?
