Just bought a Sat plug n play unit and a sirius fm modulator. After doing a search it sounds like I should return the fm mod and buy a PAC unit. My question is, can I use this device? I have a 2003 coupe that's not prewired, but does have the "sat" button. If so, what PAC unit do I need? Thanks.

 

You need the PAC AAI-NIS. It'll give you 2 Aux In for the stock HU.

 

Sorry, I should've specified that I have the non-bose stock system. Does that matter?

 

It doesn't matter. You've got the Sat button and the PAC AAI-NIS plugs in where the satellite radio connection goes. It'll work for you.

Glad to help. You'll find detailed instructions for the install at G35 iPod. The hardwired installation will show you how to get to your head unit to connect the PAC.

 

I guess I should set 24 hrs aside to attempt this thing. Yikes!
