Post Fancy alarm question

Allright... I'm going to get a ritzy alarm system for my new G, and was wondering if anyone had experience with the company Pageguard/Omnitronic?
I've been looking at 2-way systems, and so far, this is the most advanced:

http://members.optusnet.com.au/jihadbekai/pg8500s.shtml
http://www.caralarm.net/new_eng/index_e.htm

it seems to be a very good system, helpful for preventing most any types of theft/vandalism.
So, any thoughts on this system, or recommendations for a better system?

Never heard of them.

I'd use a Clifford myself. DEI quality but Clifford features.

Recently ordered

I recently ordered one. http://www.howard.co.kr/auto/remote/PG-8500.htm

I currently have a CompuSTAR but I'm a gadget freaky :-) ..so I decided to go for that one. Besides, instead of having to run out and check up on my car every time my remote buzzes, I can look on this remote and see if it's a false alarm. Comparing the features, the thing I'll be losing is the range :-/

when it is all installed and you have tested it, would you write a mini review of it?

its crappy. we sell those and we cant get rid of a one of them. and its not because of the price, its the quality. they are the same company that makes a few of out other "boomarang alarms". meaning they come back as fast as we send them out. I would think twice about these alarms

What makes them so "crappy?"
