Satellite reception worse in the rain?

Does anyone's satellite reception get worse when it rains out?

I have my antenna inside my car under the back window, so I know I'm going to take a performance hit in the reception area, but tonight it is raining it's *** off and i'm barely getting any reception at all - I just wanna see if anybody else finds that they get poor reception in the rain.

I know my home satellite TV has "rain fade" where I can actually lose 100$ of my signal when it's raining hard enough... I could only assume that sat. radio would have the same issue.
