I FINALLY completed a project I started about a month ago. I came across several problems during this process, mainly coming from the iPod hardwiring. Nevertheless, I completed it ! First of, I tapped into the cigarette lighter wire to power the V1. For the iPod, I used the Pac AAI-NIS and Blitzsafe Universal Ipod Interface that connects at the doc port of the iPod. I also bought the Proclip mounts instead of using the center console to situate my iPod mainly because I actually do use it to store my cellphone, wallet, loose change, etc !
These pics are kinda bad because it was at night and I was in a hurry to be somewhere. I will take more pics during the day.

Good job MISTICMACK. Can you take a pic of how the ProClip attaches? I'm considering one for my iPod.

Thanks! Ok, I'll take a pic of the ProClip. It literally just clips on the side of the center console and it's tightly snugged in there. I didn't even have to peel off the adhesive that's included with the mount. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I'm thinking of buying the Pac AAI-NIS and Blitzsafe parts online and bringing them into my local audio shop to have them installed professionaly...

These do work on the 06g35 AT premium package bose system right?

Also the shop said there way was to buy the ipod2car kit and install it for about 200 bucks plus 50 bucks labor...I checked online for the part...but they dont say it works for the g35...anybody know which one works with the car so I perhaps by it onlne for cheaper and bring it in...

Going to see which option is better thanks for the help!

Nice...

I hardwired my V1 and placed it above the mirror off the left so it's hidden by the tint band.

If a cop sees that you have a radar detector here in Cali... he'll just eff with you just because they don't like it.
