Red face Screen: Hot Or Not?

well, I got an aftermarket screen fitted into my car (no point in GPS since there isnt such a ssytem in lebanon, and if I wanted a screen, I would have waited an extra 3-5months for the car to come in, and then I'd have to get it fixed to play multiregional DVDs, VCDs etc... blah blah.. aftermarket screen/dvd player was easier)
I want to get ur opinions

What is the front bezel made of and does it blend with the brushed aluminum console? If the screen can't be folded away, I don't think it would look that good and simply asked to be stolen.

I didnt want for 1 reason... i'm in the middle of the yes/no

I like the idea
but,
hate the size/look

I think you would have been better off with just the screen and mount the dvd in glove box. That screen looks way too big(size of the unit)

Personally i am mounting a 7in screen in same location as you, but the over all size of the unit is way smaller.

well
the cool thing about this one is that I slide the DVD from the side of the screen
it does blend with the brushed aluminium

it looks really good to me, BUT i think it's too high up and it can't retract..

if you were playing DVDs while the car is in motion, you will get pulled over, especially since the screen is so highly visible..

I like it. Loods good and it seems to blend well. But if it cant retract, then its just a matter of time before someone steals it.

Otherwise, cool.

Hey man,
I'm not trying to be mean or anything but i think the screen doesnt match the interior. You should have gotten that AVIC-D1 by Pioneer.. That screen would hv looked HOT!!!
Anyways, sorry if i may have dispointed you from any point of view. just giving away my thoughts..

Manbir,

Otherwise, I like it.

no one pulls me over in the country I live in
we have no traffic police

it also doesnt retract
and if someone steals it, I'm insured.. so it doesnt matter

edit: that retracting screen is gorgeous
mayben I can return this screen and get that installed
