Has anyone built there own ported box? could you please post some pics?

also. i heard that when building a sealed box, the shape doesn't matter, it just the volume (pretty much) is this the same for ported boxes.

i wanted to make a ported box for my 10" and all custom to fit our small trunk. will the weird angles affect the air flow leading to the port? thanks!

Do the 4080 man, I had a ported box for my 10 built, NEVER hit the way the 4080 does. I honestly couldn't believe the difference. Not to mention the 4080 takes up almost NO trunk space. Everybody I've shown it to thinks it's some sort of OEM piece, VERY clean!

 

How much does the 4080 go for?

Do they make one for 12" as well as a 10".

 

nope only 10"

 

y ou can get a 4080 in an 8" enclosure. Only get the 4080 if you plan to do the double din.. dont' do the LOC.
