Help Needed Sat Radio Question?

I installed the oem sirius system in my 05 G coupe and I only receive 10 channels. I called sirius and the sent me several signals and I still only get 10 channels. They then notified me that I need to reset the factory bose radio to get it to sync up with my sat receiver. Anyone else have this problem? How in the hell do I reset my factory radio? Or are the giving me a line.
I can't wait to have my sat tunes. Please help.

I've never been able to activate it on my first try with Sirius. I'm not sure what makes it difficult to activate... Technically to reset it you have to leave the battery unplugged for 20 minutes. Then plug it back in. Make sure you have your Sirius receiver’s numbers right. Double check them with the ones written on the box. Call them again and make sure the car is in an open area with the radio on; its not a good idea to be driving around. If you don't get a "acquiring sat signal" within about 10 minutes. Call them again and this time insist they send the signal and stay on the phone with you and have them send it several times. In the past I've only been able to get it activated when I have been on the phone with them at the same time the signal comes; it usually comes within about 5 minutes. With all the new activations lately I'm not sure how backed up their system is. If this doesn't work you may have to exchange your sat box.
