Pac AAI-NIS question

Ok, it seems like this is the way to go with a ipod. What I'm wondering is, if I just get this Pac AAI-NIS I cant control the ipod from the steering wheel right? I need the SWI-X plus the PAC AAI-NIS to do that ? Second question, for you guys that have this setup what is displayed on the radio when your using the ipod? Does it show what you named a playlist or tracks?

Thanks.

Nope - it shows just sat1 or sat2, depending on which port you are using on the Pac. I didn't care about steering wheel control as much as sound quality. I have a blitzsave connected to the pac (do a search on blitzsave) that uses the dock connector of the ipod for line out and charges the iPod. I also use an rf remote to control the ipod (iJet). The dock connector feeds into the nav screen cubbie (no nav on my G) and I keep the ipod hidden away there. The only time I take it out is to change playlists.
