Question about PAC SWI-PS

I have a AVIC D1 installed in my G. I had a steering wheel controller installed. The SWIX infared model. Those that have this model of contoller know it lags a bit when an input is given. My question is this.... If I switch it out with the PAC SWI-PS controller what functions will the steering wheel buttons have? I know it is not programable so what button dose what on the D1? Is it worth having it swapped out? Thanks in advance.

the swi-ps is programmable. mine is programmed to do volume up, volume down, track up, track down, source, and function. there are other options you can do in the instruction manual.
