Pioneer stuff has been published on the Internet:

I don't think KW has new HUs... thought they came out before SEMA.

Eclipse I am waiting on as well... suspecting they look like the AVN7000 at the higher end and the lower end still looks pookie (based on looking at their JPN site).

According to CES' website, KW is coming out with the DDX6019, a new DD unit with a 7 inch screen. They are also releasing a bluetooth adapter that is compatible with 2006 models only. No pictures though.

Does Eclipse have the new DD units like they have in Japan , or are they the upgraded version of ours?

Also, did they have a new rear view monitor and a center channel speaker?

Thanks!

The only ones that don't make me throw up are the screen units. Aside from the new 1-DIN nav piece, nothing has changed to speak up. The CD7000 was almost not ugly until they grafted that drink coaster on for a volume control. "Honey, I blew up the ****!"

Now I have to get Alpine's 2006 suck-*** line or Kenwood. Dammit.

For the most part most of the HU lineup didnt change, just rebadged as far as design. With of course the exception of the 7000. Although finally they made a 4 way active capable HU. No more losing sales to P9 combos or DRZs.

n00b question: On some of them says "Wired Remote Input" Does this mean that I can hook up the controls on my steering wheel to the unit and make it function just like the stock one?

Looks like the Eclipse DDs are now Ipod ready which is cool. Was there any indication that the 5495 DD was Sirius ready? Anymore pics on Pioneers new DD and Alpine's DD?

By the way, do you prefer Eclipse over any of them?
