Personally i'm going with a set of Alphasonik PCT-6501 component system, i have an alphasonik amp and subs too so i'm just sticking with the same company throughout my system and they're not that expensive either, only $130. Not too many people have heard of them but if you want to try something different i'd rec. these, otherwise the Kappa's should do you right.

there is no "bose" HU. The HU in the premium setup is the same HU in the standard setup. They are both made by Clarion and they are both steaming piles of poop.... that being said, I refuse to change mine out for an aftermarket HU Only thing "Bose" in a coupe is the amp in the trunk and the only thing "Bose" in a sedan is the sub it comes with... I think.

Amthar, if this is the case, then does the bose amp amplify an already amplified signal from the HU? Cause if the HU's are the same and the non bose system doesnt come with an amp for the speakers, then there must be at least some sort of internal amp in the HU, right? I'm confusED..... I agree its a steaming pile of poop as well.

There is an amp in the non-bose cars too, it's just not a "bose" amp.

Correct. I have ’04.5 MT and speakers are powered by HU. There is no amp in trunk.

Now, please, suggest me 4-ohm speakers for front. Thanks

I stopped by Circuit City on my way home tonight and I saw some Infiniti Reference component speakers that sounded okay. I guess they're lower end than the Kappas, but will they be an improvement over the stocks?

Okay. I dont mind spending more for the kappas, but if my speakers are really powered at 4 ohm from the HU, then I have to find some other options. If you guys have any decent 4 ohm speakers in mind, please let me know!

Sound is more important than cost, but I wont be upgrading to an external amp at this time, so it has to be powered off the HU (as it seems the non-bose systems are, I'm going to double check this weekend hopefully). I'm thinking $200-$250 is what I want to spend for the front components.

Also check out CDT and DLS speakers if you are interested in better sound quality. el_duderino can set you up with DLS components.
