I will soon be buying a new hopefull 06 G. My question is get it with nav or dont and just buy a headunit with nav and such. I was doing a little research and came across the AVN6600 and it seems to be waht im looking for if i go without because i want to have Sirius. Thanks

 

Keep in mind an aftermarket system is going to cost you more than 2 grand unless you install it yourself which isn't easy. The OEM navi is good and you get the mpg and dist to empty. At the end of the day its truely a personal preference.

A lot of people dwell on the lack of a touchscreen I did before I got the oem navi, but once you get used to the joystick I never miss the touch screen. The only thing that really annoys me is the "movement lockout," but there is a mod you can do to eliminate it.
