Compustar Remote Start/Alarm

Is the compustar 2WSS-AS a good system for an 05 6mt? If anyone has it installed, how does it know the car is in neutral? I found it for around 215 on ebay, is that a good deal? Also, will I need some bypass module?

Sorry for all the questions. And yes, i searched.

Thanks everyone in advance.

I had that alarm, but I have a 5AT, so I can't speak to the "neutral" issue. It's a very good alarm, excellent range. The theoretic range is 1.2 miles I believe (open space of couse with absolutely nothing in the way) But the range it has is better than most. I also bought mine from ebay and I paid around 260 for mine, but this was over a year ago. You will need the bypass module if you're settin gup remote start, as our cars are built with immobilizers. So the bypass module will store your spae key. I didn't have remote start with mine, I wanted to keep my spare key handy.
