Just got this!

I ordered this on ebay for 40 dollars for my Avic n1 and just got it. Will it just plug and play? Do I need any other cords? Also, how do I make the cord longer?

looks like a mini video camera equipped with nightvision

probably wants to use this as a rear view camera im assuming

Ya sorry guys, assumed it was a given. Yes, im using it as a rear view camera.

very cool.... i thought it looks like to crazy camera... but with these wierd looking Q45 projectors on them...... reading waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many projector retro fit threads.....

Those are infrared LEDs used to luminate @ night.

Mount it to your license plate frame. That's what I did. Extensions you can pick up at Radio Shack. Yellow is standard RCA video. Black looks like the power cord on mine. I'm not sure about the red, unless it's power (black ground, red hot power). My camera is + and - in one cable. I'm curious to find out how yours connects. Also how good the picture is at night. Keep us posted.

Yes, u can add rear view camera to stock navis, but you need another part. I think there is info in the rear view camera thread from a few days ago.

WHAT THE HELL! I just got the brain out for the avic n1 and realized that none of these cords fit into the rear view camera input. WHAT DO I DO!!?

they make an adapter that will solve your problem
go to radio shack
