Just to clarify..............

I ordered the PAC nis2 and the aux pod a couple of weeks ago and my stereo shop is suppose to get it in tomorrow so i just want to make sure i ordered the right thing. i want to charge my ipod in my car and i also want to use the factory controls on the steering wheel so did i do right? thanks

The PAC-NIS2 in and of itself does not control the iPod from the steering wheel. It is an update of the first gen version. The second gen also lets you have satellite attached whereas the first gen did not. There is an add on device to the PAC (SWI something) that you can use through your steering wheel controls.

The one mentioned by Real G allegedly works with the steering controls out of the box.

ya i know that the PAC NIS2 does not control the ipod through the steering wheel but i thought that the aux pod does. do i need to also buy the "SWI.."?
