Recall Navi?

Hey guys I have 05 6mt w/ navi... I realized that when I drive and look at my navi screen, I noticed that my navi was kind of slow.. meaning whenever I pass certain roads on the side my navi screen shows I haven't pass that road yet... I know it can't be 100% accurate but it was irritating me.....
I tried search but didn't find any sources to recalibrate navi....
Is there any way to recalibrate navi on my own? is it easy???? please help

worst case bring it in have them swap out the navigation system. it's covered under warranty if they find a problem.
