Hi's and Mid's

I dont know if its just me or not, but from day one of owning my car its never been loud enough for me. I have the bose sound system, and the bass is fine i really dont need more more the music is not loud. My friend has a g35 s/c with two focal subs in the rear and all focal speaker components inside the car with the stock bose head unit. My question is what set up have most people been using for "louder" music also maintain a very very clean sound. Is focal the best as everyone is telling me? if not, whats better and what are your experiences with focal or other brands or what have you heard. Thank guys

If you want a very clean sound off of the Bose HU, you need a good installation first off, and more power is nice, and speakers will control the "voicing" of the system - thefront speakers are indeed the most critical part of the sound.

If you love Focal, get Focal... well made stuff.

But it's not my kind of speaker... I prefer silk dome tweeters and lower crossover points and larger voice coil motors.

DLS does all of those, AND the UP6 tweeters fit in the OEM spots.

P.S. Go to www.dls.se and click on the British flag, and see how many trophies DLS wins...

Nah, but I've studied this topic extensively.

I'll admit I've never heard the DLS, and Sound Quality is subjective...but from what I've gathered on this board and sounddomain.com they seem to be the best components espcially for the price.
