XM commander LCD mod to match G35 color
Perhaps this will help someone out there.
I added an XM commander to my G35X as I did not purchase the OEM satellite option because I did not like how it displayed and how you chose channels.
Anyway, it sounds great with a PAC adapter but the blue screen, well, clashed with the G35 display colors. I don't know why I though of this but I saw a roll of old developed 35mm negatives (old school, pre-digital
) and the unexposed but processed portion of the negative strip was just the right filter color.
So I cut a piece and was able to slide it into the window and the color was much closer.
Sometimes it is the little things!!
Now if there only was a mod to allow you to adjust the automatic's shifting!
