Im a long time lurker, never post...

I dont own a G35 but its coming in the future...

my question is this, where is the climate info displayed on a non navi G35???

Reason why I ask is because when I purchase my car Im gonna go for a non-navi model and purchase an aftermarket double din navi unit...some cars display their climate info in the same area as the radio display...

So Im just asking so I know this in advance...

Also since Im not an owner of this car, does the factory nav screen pop up manually via spring mechanism and so on, or is it motorized???

It is displayed on a separate screen, don't worry about that.

I thought the screen was spring loaded, but looks like it's motoroized. someone else told me I was wrong and that it's motoroized. who knows.

 

Climate is on the dash next to the clock...

2005+ is motorized, but honestly the spring loaded one works really good; The motorized one is just something else that can break....

 

Like other ppl have said, it have separate dispaly screen just above the clock(first pic), however, you might or might not noticed that all the controlles for climate radio/CD are in single IC board, to install aftermarket deck/Navi units you will need and Double Din conversion kit, it have stand alone AC controller and dash peice, like in the pics 2/3...
