i have been happy with Cascade VMAX dampener and you can get it online nice and cheap. You can get a 10 pack for $120 at Zeronoise.com. Some audio shops charge like $40/pack so I think it is really advisable to buy it before hand, I didn't know what kind of mark up this stuff had and made the mistake of buying it at an audio shop

LOL hey we live in a knowledge based economy, i paid to learn the lesson
I consider your shop, unlike most others, to be of the utmost integrity and honesty I don't think you are even close to being in the biz of ripping people off. I am just trying to give him a heads up so when he goes to a cartoys-esque establishment he doesen't really get ripped =]]]

Honestly I don't really know what my budget is for amps...I wanted to spend around 1.5k- 2k on everything excluding my head unit. So far I have my box (130) and two subs (299). That leaves me about 1000- 1500 for amps; wiring; sound deadening; and labor. Is that enough; right; or more than enough? I just want something that produce very clean bass and really bring out the mids and highs. I feel confident in my setup so far and want to complement it with good amps. Thanks for all the advice. Oh Pearl...the place I got my unit from was greatdeals4uonline. He is an ebay seller. After thinking about it; I decided to get everything from authorized distributors from now on. (the IDQ were purchased through sounddomain.com) Its only fair that I get your guys help and then I purchase through you.

Your certainly headed in the right direction now sir. I appreciate the support of trying to keep business owners like myself in business. Im sure El Duderino is sharing the same appreciation too.
Within that budget you can easily go with the the ra10/ra40 and bank the leftover, or splurge a bit to the A6/A4 combo. Although a bit less power than the above on the sub portion (modestly rated) I am a big fan of the A7. Which would be a nice solution all around as well as simplfying the install and use of space while still banking a bit of that cash.
