I have used the suction cup on a rental recently.
It works great, holds well & easy to re & re.

It is easy to switch to other vehicles and it does not move around in the cubby. I have never used the suction cup, I have always found a compartment or convenient spot to put it in in other vehicles.

The longest I have run it on the internal battery is 4 hours, the specs say it will run 8 hours. It automatically recharges when you plug it in the car or you use the usb cord and plug it into your computer. The specs say it will take 3 hours for a full charge if it is drained.

It tells alot of this info on the Garmin site here:

+3 on the Nuvi 350

I have had my nuvi for over a 4 months and love it. I have it placed it in 2 locations in my G and 1 is similar to where you have it placed. It has a couple a quirks that I have noticed but it is sweet

The only thing I wanted that it didn't have was Bluetooth and I guess the new 360 will have this. Oh well.
