I just bought the Kenwood DDX-7017 double din reciever and was wondering will that work with the factory Bose speakers and amp. I bought the Double Din kit and the wiring harness. Thanks for any input.

 

My first and only question is WHY??? Your system will only be as good as its weakest component. The Bose speakers and amp are garbage. You've spent your hard-earned $$$ on a nice head unit. Now finish the job and buy an amp and some speakers to replace the Bose ones. You don't have to go broke in the process. You can buy an amp, speakers, and subwoofer (optional), and wiring/cables for as little as $500-$600.

mine works fine with them. it actually makes them sound much better.

i dont have the money to buy new speakers yet im saving up

 

if u have the wiring harness, just crimp together everything else and youre good to go. Definately upgrade the rest..

 

^+1 the bose system sucks. none the less, the Kenwood HU will improve the sound from the stock components until you can upgrade
