wtf are gadgets? No, I can understand having it just to have it. I guess I can also understand that some songs play bass "too loud"- although this is a bit confusing. It seems like you would get into a game of constantly adjusting the bass to sound the way you want for each song, instead of the way the artist intended it.

Hey, for the center console installers... did you guys run the wire below the drivers seat and then ran it along the door sill? I think I might go where the velvet spot is (like the original poster) because it's the easiest spot to open. Thanks for the ideas guys!

You mean me? Heh.

Anyways, I ran everything down the door sill on the passenger side, because I allready had that open for some other things, and then around the front.

Cool. Thanks.

Stupid Question: How do you remove the **** on the controller so you can slide it though the hole you drill? Do you just pull it off? I pulled real hard but I'm afraid I might break it. Thanks.

Pull harder...

Honestly, thats all I can tell you. Once you pull it off, there is also a very thin nut/collar to unscrew, but you have to pull the **** off first.

Why would you want a bass ****? that is a ridiculous question. Why would you want an EQ? Why do home stereos have bass adjustment? Why does the stock HU have bass adjustment? don't be an idiot

This thread rules! will post mine up later.

you are ridiculous to think this way...the bass **** is so that YOU can listen to a song with as much or as little bass as you want. and especially for us CA folks, it is nice when you can instantly turn down the bass for the PO PO's
