I am gonna do it under the rearview mirror, with that piece someone sells to mount V1's and 8500's and power it from the homelink mirror power

actually ide suggest mounting it up high to to the left of the rearview mirror because if you get pulled over, you can just flip the visor down and it covers up the detector and you are more likely to get off with a warning then. my 2 cents
