It's possible to buy stock display holder

Don't know if this has been covered, but I've been looking into getting an aftermarket LCD unit and wanted it to look stock since I didn't get the Navigation option for my 6-spd coupe. After hearing somewhere(6mt.net I think) that it's not possible to buy the stock navigation display holder, I looked into it. You CAN buy this unit, I called Grubbs today, but it's expensive.

Just the spring loaded holder and monitor cover, excluding the display retails for $1787.68. Grubbs can get it for $1430.14. You would need to purchase an aftermarket 6.5" LCD that would fit in the display holder, unless you want to buy the factory display, just the display retails for $1395.

This doesn't make much sense because the Navigation option is only $2000, but the holder alone is $1787? Plus the $1395 for the LCD monitor? So this is already over $3k in parts excluding other parts, DVD Nav, Navi controller, etc.
