DVD/Navi Question

Fist off just wanna say was up to everyone!
Been reading the forums for some time now just never posted.

So i have a g35c 6spd with bose sound system without a navi system.

I was wondering if there was a Navi/dvd system that will fit in the stock position and also open up like the stock one? or is it just better to replace the whole front face unit?

Thanks in addvance

Installer STOCK NAVI system

I'd like to get the stock NAVI system also! Dealer said they need to check if my 2003 sedan has the proper wiring to do so. Was wondering how much the whole installation + hardware will cost me..

Rip-off!!!

Just got off the phone with my Infiniti dealer and they said it would cost me around 4000$ CAN. (approx. 3500$ US) including labor to install a used stock DVD navigation system!!! Is this way overpriced or what guys??? I was thinking paying max 1000$ usd. Maybe I could get some local audio garage guy to do the same job for less?

Most dealers refuse to do it. I think their price is reasonable for the parts/labor. There's a thread out there of someone who actually did it. Its extremely complicated and I'm pretty sure he spent more than $1000 in parts (no labor)

Installing it without instruction requires alot of guess work, so I doubt a local guy would do it.

Its cheaper to install DD aftermarket navi...
