subs bad for my g35??

I had subs on my old car (rx300) and i thought they were the greatest thing ever. Before i bought my Z the fleet manager saw me measing the trunk to see if i could fit my subs (2 12'' mtx 8000's). He looked shocked and told me to definitely NOT move the subs into the G. He said because there is so much plastic and glass on the G to minimize its weight, subs would really make everything come loose and rattle like crazy. Also, my subs are pretty damn heavy, and i think it would slow my G down quite a bit. Of those of you who have already installed subs, what is your opinion on this??

That is nonsense. Just drop a couple pounds or run on the treatmill and you can make up for the added weight of the subs! I put 2 12's in my sedan and can't tell a difference in the speed at all. As far as the rattling, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think it would rattle any more than the next car with a similar setup.

Dealer's who open their uninformed, uneducated mouths should be shot.

I have 2 12"s in a sealed enclosure in my trunk. I cannot tell any difference in acceleration or otherwise since installing them. It's just not enough of a weight difference to make any noticeable difference.
