Hey guys, im in the middle of doing the double din conversion on my 04 6mt.

Anyone whose done the conversion, can you help me out with this small problem?

i have the whole center console out, and i was able to get the passenger side ac vent out of the stock center console finisher piece easily by lifting up the tabs here:


However on the drivers side, there is some sort of cover with plastic rivets on the left side of the vent. Is there a way to get this piece off without having to just dremel off those rivet like pieces. THe cover blocks me from getting the two other tabs to get this vent out.
