Hi everybody
I got my coupe two weeks ago and i'm having a problem with the cd player. All of a sudden it just stopped working. It wouldnt do anything.I dont know what the problem is. Anyway, I was just wondering how long it would take for a dealer to fix the cd player. I go to school in upstate new york which is 3 hours away from my dealer(in NJ) so if it takes more than a day i would have to find another way to fix it. Please reply me back if youve had the same problem with audio. Thanks

 

for me i just turned off the car then turned it back on, and the error was gone.
Some people have had their entire unit replaced.
The 04 coupes have an upgraded version of the clarion head unit.

Call your dealership over the phone. They have to swap out the head unit. They do not have these in stock, they'll have to order one, and it takes a week or two to arrive. You don't want to go to the dealership until it arrives. The "CD ERR F0" is all the info they need to order you one. When it does arrive, it's a less-than-2-hour job (so they won't give you a rental). They'll ship your old head unit to Clarion, who will extract the CD's and mail them back to your dealership, another couple of weeks. In your case, you may want your dealership to mail them to you instead of holding them for pickup.

I got a loaner no problem when they replaced my head unit. Also, I did get all my cd's back from Clarion a few weeks after they put the new player in. This was about 8 months ago by the way.

Can't you just go to a dealership in upstate NY?

Remember to only use "Compact Disc" CD's in these tempermental units. Apperently if you don't it is the reason the unit gets errors. Although, ryoken says he uses them and still gets errors on his player
