12 inch sub in coupe

Has anyone been able to do it. I have a 12 in w3 jl sub that I like a lot, but I see that most people have 10s in their coupes. Has anyone been able to put in a 12. Thanks.

i put in a 12'' it was in a box. and took up the whole trunk area.i took it out in about a month, you would have to go custom for 12" and still wanted to keep it clean.

Thumbs up

Hi,
It totally can be done, here is my Infinity Kappa Perfect 12" in a custom fiberglass box I built myself (pat on back). First time I ever played with fiberglass. My Amp setup in this pic is old; I redid all my electronics a few months ago. The sub rocks and i have trunk space.

Yeah, I had a camry before this g35, and I just had the sub in the middle of the trunk in a normal 12 inch box. I def want something custom, kinda like in that last post. I've seen that some ppl on this site build boxes for sale, does anyone have any custom 12 inch boxes for sale?

You can definately do it. I have 2 JL-Audio 12w7s, 4 amps, a ps-2, dvd changer, cd changer, DQX, 2 crossovers, and two 1700 amp batteries stuffed in there. So one 12 shouldn't be a problem.
