Fast guys are not running this. They know the safety and if they have a blow out it will ruin their day. I have yet to see any FAST guys force a 275/285 on a 8 inch rim. You obviously don't race enough to notice what people use.

Chris Ingle who I cited above is not the slowest out there. Rules often limit the wheel size leaving the tire size free. Competitors often try oversize tires for that reason in the hopes of picking up more grip. You obviously don't COMPETE enough to know how to get an edge within a ruleset Hehe ... this is getting stupid.

Yes because you are stupid. Like the other guy said, SHOW us data that proves the manufactures support these oversized tires on 8 inch wheels.

I race more than you ever will. Let's see here, here is a comment from a Vette owner that runs nationals.

"If you decide to stay in SS, you will be stuck with 8.5" wide rims in the front and 10" wide rims in the back. Be careful and don't put too large of tire on these rims, the tire will overhang and you'll lose crispness on turn-in. See Tireracks site for correct sizes."

And sorry but I rather live and let my car live to the next even and be safe with correct size tires and wheels.

What other guy? Are you trying to say you're not SOLO-350Z?

For someone that races more than I ever will, you seem to finish at the back of pack according to the SASCA website. Where are the fruits of all that labor?

It helps if you run more too...here is the list:

http://www.sasportscar.com/forum/upl...ivers_yep_.htm

I was always in the top 3 in every race I did.

Are you saying you're not Russ Zotz and this isn't you?

Elsewhere you say you've been running autox for 18 years. If so then these results from just a year and a half ago should be representative of your ability.

BTW, people like you tend to blame the car for their performance.

Ahh so you are comparing times to other cars that had better rubber than stock tires. Plus they put me in the wrong class in the system. See they put me down against the AWD cars? lol. So what is your point? Like I said, I showed the stats above top 3 everytime. I won 3rd place against 100s of other Z cars that ran at the autox at ZCON.

So because I called you out on wrong advice on your tires your trying to grab straws and finding something to throw at me? lol thats funny.

Grow up kid.

Your top 3 finish in 2006 was also next to last Not something to brag about. You seem to routinely get beat by Cory Long in his nissan who occasionally comes up to dfw where I've beaten him http://www.autocross.com/er/equipera...index.php?id=1 with one cone against me no less.

Nah. You talk alot of smack and don't have the skills to back it up. That's irritating. Kid? I've probably done alot more with my life than you.

Wow little man. I guess only running two times in 2006 out of 12 times I could have ran counts as a loss. Since I sold my car.

I showed you 2005 results and I didn't run all 12 times either. But I was still in the top 3 for finals.

Tell ya what, why don't you go back to your little corner, put your hat on before you make yourself look even worse than you have so far.

Sad that you can't even tell they put me in the wrong class and it was against me in the times and trying to throw that at me. lol.

Ask Mad Mike if I don't have the skills. I was one of the fastest drivers out at autox and MSR the day of ZCON. You know who he is right? He designed the 350z.

The only one talking smack is you. Keep trying because your failing.

STX is the legal class for the G on street tires and limited susp and motor mods. What's sad is how you inflate minor accomplishements and turn a next to last finish into 3rd place Anyway, I'm getting way too involved in this. Go ahead and get the last word in again and let the thread die. I promise this time not to respond so make it a zinger. lol.

Wah Wah, Wah, I proved my point above like everywhere else. I showed you where I got in the top 3 in 2005 every part. I only ran twice in 2006. So your trying to take that and push it against me. LOL! Such a kid. You really need to grow up. You ask Mad Mike yet how good of a driver I am? You ask the manufactures or SCCA/SEB that those tires are safe for that size wheel? You ask MSR/TMS or DriversEdge events Apex that those tires are safe? Didn't think so.
