Racing Slicks & Tool Box Owners, What Hitch/Trailer Combo

I was thinking about getting a small truck to tote large items to/from places but since I'm planning on getting a dedicated set of racing tires I'll just forgo the truck and use a trailer with the G.

What kind of successful combos of hitchs and trialers have you racers used to tow a set of slicks and necessary tools?

I've seen some talk about a eTrailer site (or something like that). But only seen pictures of mounted bikes.

And what about wiring? Any problems there?

well, if you're lookin' at a trailer, i suggest a featherlite. they make awesome trailers, either enclosed or open, goosenecks, etc. they're pretty light, too and can be had with lots of options. i would get one, but i can't afford it right now, and my HOA will have a fit if i keep it here! you will need a class 4 ball and hitch. the wiring is pretty standard...is the hitch already installed on your tow vehicle?

I think the OP is looking for a trailer that he can tow with the G. I have seen some small trailiers that are deing used for tires and tools at the track but I don't know the brand, but it can be done and is

That link helped. I'll check out the Curt Distribution center here in Dallas and see what they can do for me. All I can find is part numbers for the G sedan. I wonder if the Z has the same bumper setup as the G. Suppose I'll find out.

i'm sure our stock bumper sits a little lower than the Z so if you use that hitch, you may need a little trim. the main support should be the same, but don't quote me on that

Hopefully if I stop on by the warehouse they'll have some parts available for me to look at and size up on the car. Perhaps I should take the tools with me to take off the fiscata (or whatever the heck its called) on a moments notice. Unfortunately, as I'm finding out since moving, imports are not nearly as popular in Texas as they are in other parts of the country.
