Why widen your stock wheels? That seems like a huge waste to me.

because i want the handling capabilities of wider tires, and the 285s on my rear 8.5" wheels feels terrible. i can feel the tire rolling in hard cornering. 275/285s on 9.5" wheels will handle a lot better
